Reasoning Together

In Isaiah 1 : 18, God says “Come, let us reason together”. Oh! What a call! Mind you it is the Almighty God calling us to reason together. Considering the context, the Lord is calling His children to reason with Him regarding their sins. Who else is like our Good God who is ready to hear all about our failures and willing to address them readily? No waiting in the line, no “Come back later”, no “Not available”, no ” Closed” sign or no “Please wait while you are being connected”.

To those who are ready to reason together with God regarding their greatest problem, sin, this is the analogy : Scarlet to Snow, Crimson to Wool. That’s the change God brings in us. “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be white as snow ; Though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool”.
